Horizons Survivors Program assists victims of violent crimes and their families navigate through life after a traumatic event.  These services are free and confidential for clients and are available 24 hour a day.  The program is also a liaison between the media and law enforcement, helping secure meals and lodging, and accompanying victims and their family to trial if needed.  The Survivors Program covers fourteen counties in eastern Iowa and has helped in many cases since its inception.

The SOHP/OVC program is a comprehensive program for survivors of homicide and other violent crimes.  Violent crime survivors can access individual and group support; as well as medical, legal, educational, and other advocacy.  An array of collaborations and referrals are available to meet the needs of all survivors of homicide and other violent crimes.
